For our sing-along, the Mayor selected "It's a Grand Ol Flag" and I'm most certainly thankful that the flag is much grander than our rendition of the song.
Gail shared that she attended the memorial service for recently deceased Rotary member Bud Hawes who was a devoted Rotarian and was buried with his Paul Harris pin on his jacket. Rest in peace Bud.
Gail presented to Reverend Bob a Crocus as appreciation to which he replied, "my wife encourages my attendance by telling me to 'get out of bed, you bum!'" He also likened our meetings to a floating craps game in that one never knows where we're going to meet.
In discussing the Install dinner which will be on 6/25, Gail asked if the club would prefer $50/person and cash bar, or $75 which would include an open bar. We chose the former. Please remember that there will not be a morning meeting that day.
Rotary After Hours
Who's got an idea for RAH this month? Keep in mind, although it's Rotary AFTER HOURS, most of us have a 9 PM bedtime.
HAPPY DOLLARS
Unless the newsletter writer was asleep during the meeting, we did not do Happy Dollars.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND SUCH
We will soon be awarding four $2000 scholarships.
Guest Speakers
Russell Anderson from the Lombardi Awards visited our meeting to express his appreciation for our help, and to present our club with a check for $1,604.14.
Hittin the Links.
Jamie was in good form on the course today with the winning low round. She generously donated $25 of her $45 winnings back to the club. Thanks Jamie.

17 Pints of blood were collected at the drive last week. Thank you to all who donated and to;
Cynthia and Dave for helping to set up; "Peter, Paul and Mary"; Ted for recruiting; Bill, John Kelly and Jamie. Your efforts will literally save lives and are most appreciated.
Speaking of saving lives, the Spring Lake First Aid will be holding a CPR Class for our club. Details will be provided at a later date.
FOOD DRIVE
Don't forget, Rotary is having a food drive on June 27th from 9-3 at the A&P. Please bring canned foods, flour, sugar, etc.
